Rules Summary
- Kaiser is a 4-player partnership trick-taking game: Seat 1 and 3 vs Seat 2 and 4.
- Each hand has staged bidding, trump selection by the winning bidder, then trick play.
- In bidding, players bid values only, pass, and the dealer can take the current value.
- Once the contract value is established, the winner chooses trump.
- In play, follow suit when possible. Highest card of lead suit wins unless trump is played.
- The 5H adds 5 points. The 3S subtracts 3 points.
- The winning target is 52, or 64 after a successful no-trump contract.
- Each game must be completed within 60 minutes.
